Statement from Manny Cruz, former Candidate for City of Glendale Mayor, regarding the Outcome of the Election

“I want to congratulate Mayor-Elect Jerry Weiers on a hard fought race and having the opportunity of being this great City’s next mayor. As a resident and small business owner, I look forward to assisting him and the City any way I can. I am still committed to the city of Glendale and look forward to helping the City though these hard economic times. I also must thank my family. They gave me the inspiration and courage to take a stand for Glendale and try to move it forward. Equally as important, are the supporters that have been with me throughout the campaign, who knocked on doors when it was 110 degrees outside and those who made phone calls on my behalf to gain more support for the campaign. This election was not about me, it was about you. Thank you, Glendale, for your support over the past year.”
